52. Deep in Thought

This was a request from :icondaiskuruna: and it's her character so obviously no touchie without talking to her first.

This went through... I don't know how many revisions. A lot. More than a lot, like a gazillion. His face was a nightmare especially. Then painter lost my progress for me. Then my tablet software started acting up and I had to uninstall reinstall :|

Anyhow, I finished him because I'm going away and I either had to do it now or it'd never get done XD Sorry Kuru, he woulda had a better background but my inspiration died on me with the tablet software. Hey, at least his log has some halfway decent moss! :XD: if that's any consolation.

I love his scythe and I'm going to steal it. I'm also ridiculously pleased with how his cloak clasp turned out.

and the idea is that his cloak is two sided, one side to blend in with the desert, one side to blend in in greener surroundings... but that's just what my imagination crapped out when it decided he needed color XD

:XD: OH MY GOD!!!! I SO LOVE YOU RIGHT NOW!!! :icondragonglomp: And I absolutely LOVE the idea of the cloak being two-sided because it fits in very well with the idea of his "job" so to speak.

The background is FINE, especially because I haven't decided if the desert peeps build cities or are completely...um....*can't think of the word* migratory, basically, with tent "cities."

You can't steal his scythe because I'm going to steal it first!! :excited:
And I can't quite decide what's on his cloak clasp, even though it looks awesome. It looks either like a spider or like a tree-thingy... o_0;

:XD: well that was an awesome reaction, rofl. Yay, glad you like it! The cloak was a last minute addition when I couldn't make that arm look normal...

Nomadic? XD Sounds neat. Whatever you decide, I'll maybe go back and work on it more.

:lmao: yeah it turned out wicked, didn't it? Even if I did get kinda lazy towards the end towards painting it.
and psst, hit download XD you'll be able to see the full image. I'll email you an un-watermarked copy but it won't be this big because your email will throw a conniption ._. It's basically a cross between a tree and the triangular shapes of desert dunes... I was bored so that turned up XD sort of runish I suppose.

Hey, that totally works for me! :D I didn't even think of a cloak, so, there you go! Artistic license that the creator of the character totally agrees with! I told we thought on near to the same wavelength!! :XD:

Yes! Nomadic! That's the word! thank you. And they probably will be nomadic, except along the river, because that's safer to do in a water-poor environment...
