x.x I don't know HOW many hours or DAYS for that matter that this one took me but it was a LOT. I worked on it here and there but only finished it today because I actually had the attention span for it. I was originally going to make him a pegasus and then I thought about him being a unicorn but obviously neither happened. The wings, eh, I HATE doing wings and I didn't want to ruin this with crappy ones so I left them out. The horn, I couldn't get the foreshortening to look quite right and couldn't pick a color so I nixed that too.
However, oddly enough, I'm very happy with the result. I spent hours just making sure that the actual horse was set well in the background. Hehe, I kind of think it looks like he got planted in the dirt, with how his feet turned out. But squee! It's done and it's big and it's detailed and well shaded so once I'm eighteen this will be made a print. I can't wait! Reference: [link] |
