I posted this same note on my facebook account so the people there will realize this is happening and asked my friends to copy/paste and make sure other people realized it as well. Now I'm asking you too, before you, as another DA artist, are targeted next! Especially if you're into the fantasy genre.

I know some of my friends play this Hammerfall game on Facebook. If you do, listen up, because this is important. The developers of the game have been repeatedly STEALING art from artists on Deviantart.com to use as the icons in the game.

I know a lot of people go on about how art on the internet is free game, well guess what? IT ISN'T! It's the same type of theft as stealing food/clothing/whatever out of a department store. People make a living off this art and for someone to go and make a profit off of it is literally stealing food from their tables. Be considerate and don't support this game. They're thieves!

The artists on DA specifically keep their art COPYRIGHTED and RIGHTS RESERVED. That means you CANNOT take it, resize it, edit it or post it elsewhere. The ONLY ones with that right are the actual artists. THE DEVELOPERS OF HAMMERFALL HAVE DONE ALL THREE.

The people on DA are trying to get this taken care of, but the owners of the game are too stubborn to remove the art and since they're hosting them on photobucket, it's making cleaning up the mess a problem for everyone. Especially since they locked the account so now you can't go in and locate what art is who's.

That aside, I've gotten back to work on Schidai, trying to finish chapter seven as well as get the book plotted out. It's going to be a big 'un, that's for certain. The real problem doesn't come to a head until chapter 11 and chapter 7 is my 60,000 word mark ._.

That aside, I'm not sure, but it seems I'm dragging things out too much. I'll have to go back, reread and edit and refresh myself on the course of the story so I don't end up getting lost. It's happened before and I can't afford for it to happen now. Having to erase and rewrite chapters is a HUUGE pain in the posterior.

I started on the 100 themes last night too XD Yeah, I finish one huge project and then immediately launch yet another. Actually, I had it started BEFORE I was finished.
